The Employment Bank is a joint initiative of the Department of Labor and Information Technology, Government of West Bengal, with the active support of the West Bengal Government officials.

YUVASREE Scheme
The state government has set up a job portal, implemented a web-based job portal for the state’s jobbers, to expand their employment opportunities in all possible manners.
the important thing is The response from job seekers has been overwhelming and they have registered their names in large numbers in the employment bank job portal.
YUVASREE scheme is done under the active consideration of the government to provide unemployment assistance to the job seekers nominated by the Employment Bank. that’s how They can increase their employment or through skill training to upgrade their skill level to become suitable for setting up self-employment ventures.
After careful consideration of the matter, therefore the Governor is pleased to launch a scheme called “Yuva Utsav Pralp (YUP) -2013” to be implemented in the state of West Bengal from 01.10.2013. which is now renamed as YUVASREE.
